after few sleepless nights..
and completely ignoring my Human Physiology notes, despite i'm having a class test on friday..
we finally made it..
i should say that our HKL field visit presentation was quite a success..

i know i haven't been updating my blog as frequently these days..
okay.. basically my life these days is filled with..
endless lectures, class tests, seminars, reports, presentations...
oh ya.. and some precious happy moments.. fun + joy filled sessions with my friends..
well.. i'll blog on those.. as soon as i finish my field trip presentation.. and studied for my Human Physiology class test..

till then.. i'm confining myself in my room with my notes and laptop!!

it's another weekend..
so.. we planned another escapade from the boring, dull life at IMU~

at 10am.. we gathered punctually at vista B..
it's amazing how everyone can be punctual when it comes to going out..
got on to the LRT.. and headed towards our 1st stop... Plaza Rakyat..
haih.. YahLee abandoned us.. as usual.. for her "housemate"(s)..

Pudu Station was filled with people..
we managed to get to our respective booths and got the info we wanted..
buses headed towards South will be departing from Bukit Jalil..
too bad for me.. i'll still have to come to Pudu..
oh ya.. bought tickets for WeiJie.. who's planning to go Langkawi during the Raya break..

went to China town after that..
the sun was absolutely scorching.. to my dismay..
i guess my body's accumulated quite a reasonable storage of vitamin D..
strolled around.. looking for food..
and found quite a lot of mouth-watering, wickedly alluring food..
curry puffs, mua-chis.. every corner, every alley.. there were food every where..

finally we left Plaza Rakyat, our stomachs reasonably full..
and headed towards Hang Tuah station.. and walked towards Berjaya Times Square..
there, we were joined by Alice's friend...
and we started our "window-shopping" trip..
it's a change of scenery..
i haven't been shopping for ages.. so, i was totally craving..
the thing is.. i don't really buy a lot of stuff during shopping trips..
i like walking around.. enjoying the hustle & bustle..
looking at interesting stuff..
watching people grab and bargain..
but i don't really have the urge to buy something..
guess i'm just weird..

we moved on to Low Yat Plaza..
another one of my favourite places..
i simply love to stare at amazement at all those incredibly cute/nice/unique
hi-tech gadgets...
i wanted to by a laptop case/folder...
found some really nice ones..
but the prices are really "nice" too..
i guess these are stuff that i can only afford to buy when my parents are with me...
wakakakaka...

and we went on to Sungei Wang..
and the crowd there was... fuyoh...
everywhere was crowded..
walked around.. buying stuff... looking at stuff..
realized that.. i really don't have that stamina anymore..
i used to be able to walk around the shopping mall for a whole day without rest..
guess i'll have to brush up on my stamina..
gotta exercise more..

guess what...
i had only 1 hour of Tutorial for Statistics Project 2 on my schedule today..
and it was cancelled~~~

but i still had to go to school though..
to hand in my Human Physiology report..
it's lucky that i survived yesterday's Organic Chemistry class test..
even though i didn't exactly do really great...

anyway, went to see one of my friend -- PheiSzee off
she was heading to UK to study Actuarial Science..
being in the same class for 4 years in secondary school and in the same band.. i'll really miss her..
KongBoon, BeeTong, me, LeeYee, SeowYan, Irene, CheeHou, Philip, WeiXing and ChowKong went to KLIA to see her off...

airports have really unique feel about them..
people hug and bid their friends and family goodbye..
people arriving with happy, smiling faces to their waiting family and friends..
people just passing by, transiting to another place..
it's really a place of a variety of emotions..
only this time, my purpose of being there was to bid a friend goodbye..

most of the people who showed up was formerly in 5SC..
hahaha.. except for a certain someone -- Irene
memories of our days in 5SC flooded my mind..
there was this ponteng group..
most of them there today was the supreme members of the group..
well, i wasn't anyway, i'm just a inactive member..
for every time i ponteng, i'll sure be caught.. so "sui"..
i've always been curious.. how come u guys get to ponteng so often and never got caught??

oh ya.. i remember PheiSzee used to be the reigning Sleeping Queen of 5SC..
she's active all the time, talking and walking around in class..
but, whenever the teacher starts teaching..
our Miss Sleeping Queen starts dozing off..
let's hope u don't fall asleep in ur lectures in UK ya..

okay... this is specially dedicated to clarify a very very important fact!!
curious? here goes...

as everyone knows.. i'm doing Nutrition & Dietetics..
currently surviving in week 9 of Sem 1..
i may seem to be enjoying myself..
don't ever be misled by all these happy outing blogs..
just because i don't blog about all those dry, boring details of my daily life..
well, i'm not free from all the usual boring stuff..

let's see...
i have 3 class tests this week..
2 practical reports dued this week..
1 field trip presentation to complete by next week..
1 folio to be handed in by next week, complete printout, with group photos and power point presentation included..
2 more class tests next week..
2 seminars to prepare..
1 statistics survey and 4 CAL assignments to complete..
and not to forget.. the General Chemistry poster presentation..

at this rate.. i probably won't even have time to sleep..
and the worst thing is..
i have a Professionalism in Nutrition & Dietetics class test tomorrow..
3 sets of codes.. MDA Code & Guideline of Professional Conduct, NSM Code of Professional Conduct and N&D students' pledge.. to memorize..
and i'm still here ranting in my blog..

oh my god.. feel like slapping myself to wake myself..

gosh.. i really don't like it here..
even the sky somehow seems different here in KL..
it feels colder.. and more distant..
even the night sky doesn't seem to be the right colour..
instead of the usual bluey-black colour we call midnight blue..
the sky here has a shade of orange from all the lights of the city at night..
and u can't even notice a single lone star.. no matter how hard u try.. or how long u spend staring at the sky..
i miss mummy..
i miss daddy..
i miss YingSern..
i miss YingYew..
i miss home..

thank goodness for little favours..
at least i have a bunch of nice friends..
to tell the truth.. i wouldn't be able to make it this far without u guys..

after few days of torturing sickness...
i've finally recovered~~
anyway, what do you do once u recover? u celebrate.. of course...

the main event today: went for a movie at MidValley..
well, let's see.. WeiJie, Daniel, JiaRu, HongHui and me.. went together by LRT..

10.00am:
time to gather at Vista B guardhouse.. but got delayed...
my clothes are just ready to be hung out to dry...
damned that washing machine..
quickly sms-ed WeiJie to explained the situation..
and hung out the clothes in lightning speed..

10.10am:
got to Vista B at last..
YahLee hasn't got there yet..
sms-ed her.. only to find that she's not ready yet..
and she'll be going with her "housemate" later..

10.15am:
walked over to the Sri Petaling LRT station..
got onto the LRT..
switch to KTM at Bandar Tasik Selatan..
omg... the KTM was soooooo crowded..
hung on to the railing for dear life..
and at the same time, eyes on our belongings..

11.00am:
realized that something's wrong.. how come we're at Kajang station??
oh no!! seems like we've got onto the wrong train..
got off at Kajang station..
it was raining... gloomy and depressed.. we sat there wondering..
"how in the the world did we end up getting onto the wrong train??"
the there was this announcement through the loud speakers..
"disebabkan oleh hujan lebat, tren KTM yang sepatutnya bertolak dari Seremban telah dibatalkan....."
omg!!!!!!!!! we're stranded.... unless we manage to squeeze into the next train...
which was pretty impossible...
and we didn't manage to squeeze pass all those determined passengers...
and then another train came.. determined, we finally managed to squeeze into it.. miraculously~

1.00pm:
finally got to MidValley.. thank goodness for little favors..
headed straight for the GSC..
too late to watch 4bia, so we decided to watch another movie...
which.. took quite a long time to decide...
well, at last, we decided on the movie --- BODY.. it's the 3.30pm show..
so, we got to the food court to grab something to eat..

sad... they would let me eat tom yam!!
or any fried stuff..
they only permit me to eat 清汤粿条!!
anyway.. i finally insist on ordering clay pot yee mee~~

anyway, had lunch.. it was quite funny..
we couldn't help overhearing the guy at the next table talking to his friend...
he referred the place "Geylang" as.... "place where bouys become men!!" WAKAKAKAKAKA... what a way to put it..
oh ya.. they kept making Daniel teach them 福州粗话.. omg...

well, the movie was quite ok..
it was about a doctor who got Schizophrenia and started having illusions and killed other people..
that's why.. those doing medicine.. don't be too stressed..
anyway, hid my face in my bag 1/4 of the movie..
especially at the horror scenes...
lucky i wasn't the only one.. i had a partner.. HongHui..
we kept turning to Daniel, not daring to watch the scene.. and we had Daniel describing what was happening..
he was like..
" erm.. the ghost just came out of the closet, it was only bones..",
"the black cat.. it had only one eye..",
"the bathtub was filled with blood..."...
and he had quite a good time laughing at us!!!
haih....

after the movie.. we went window shopping..
it was quite a bad timing.. there're weren't any mega sales going on..
the Carnival Sale was just over..
so i guess i could only afford to window shop...
throughout the process, found out something...
HongHui and i have soooo much in common..
it was like she could read my mind!! creepy...
well, it's nice to find someone who has so much in common with me anyway..

we decided to have dinner there before going back to Vista..
and, regretted the decision almost at once..
every available food providing place.. fast food restaurants and high class restaurants alike.. was filled with people..
it was like they're giving away free food or something.. as HongHui said..
there's a line of hungry, determined, desperate shoppers in front of every single restaurant.. *sweat*

we ended up eating at a place called ZEN..
and got home to Vista Komanwel safely...
if u think the day ended this way.. u're wrong..
at first we accompanied HongHui and JiaRu back to Vista B..
at HongHui's apartment in Vista B1, we got side tracked..
and started chatting in her living room..
it went on into a multi-topic conversation and we kinda lost tracked of time..
talking about almost everything, from childhood memories to our feelings about our course, to our dreams for the future....
when we finally realized the time, Daniel's eyes was barely open.. wakakaka..
anyway, it was about 1.00am when we finally started home...

so there u have it.. another boring day made exciting..
