冬至快乐啦~

冬至啦~~
搓了一早上的汤圆，终算可以享用啦！
好久没用华文来写blog了。。
在今天，那么充满华人传统文化气息的一天，
就破例把我已经废弃许久、长满野草、生锈到不行的华文搬出来。。
哈哈哈。。也没什么，就随便写写几句。。。
今天才发现，原来。。冬至 = Winter Solstice。。。
又学会多一个新词啦。。
好啦好啦。。。我知道，废到不行。。。
没办法，闷在家里那么久了，头脑都慢慢退化了。。。
看来，开学前，要好好维修一下，
不然。。。。

ok啦！总之大家冬至快乐啦。。
噢，对！还有圣诞节快乐。。。

it's the time of the year again...

yup..
it's the time of the year again..
for the pass 8 years, i've always been a part of it..
the Annual Passing-Out Parade of SMJK Nan Hwa Band

ever since Standard 3, band has been a really big part of my life..
i would spend nearly all my time in band..
there, i had lot's of memories, the good and bad, sweet and bitter..
i remember the 1st time i was ever part of this ceremony..
that was 2001, when i was form 1..
images of the seniors marching in, salute and receiving their souvenirs and prizes..
back then, it seemed such an honour.. and it is..

every year, we'll prepare, practice, rehearse..
all for the sake of a perfect show on this day..
for graduating seniors, this will be their last performance in band uniform..
for everyone else, it is the best opportunity to improve their playing skill..
i remember practicing hard the different music pieces, the ever so challenging running notes..
oh ya.. and the 5 years that i was emcee for the night..
very very challenging.. always makes me nervous...

this year, i was no longer part of this ceremony...
well, after graduating twice..
it's quite enough..
finally, i can experience the Passing-Out Parade, as an audience..
even though i haven't spend much time with these juniors..
i wanna say, keep up the good work..
u guys really have the potential..
i'll be looking forward for your performance next year...

1. watching every single drama series i managed to get my hands on... (that's to make up for lost time during EOS period)

2. staying at home.. doing absolutely nothing... (those who know me should know, this probably means i'm day-dreaming again)

3. going swimming everyday.. yeah... this isn't a typo.. suddenly had this urge to go swimming..

4. and i have some DIY projects going on..



which basically sums up all my daily activities here..
omg.. what a painful realization.. i'm definitely in turning into a 宅女！！！
how did i ever get so boring... -___________-

phone is filled with smses..
"checked ur results yet?",
"how to check results?",
"how? passed? failed?",
"weyy... how to check lar..??"
"omg.. results... how? how?"

12.00pm >>
got the news that results will only be out at 3.00pm..
and it'll be posted outside mph????
still having doubts about this statement..
i thought we cant see others' results??
i guess i'll just have to wait and see...

1.00pm >>
getting frustrated with IMU's system..
cant login to the webpage..
"invalid login detected..."
tried the IMU email.. only to realize that..
i don't have one!!

2.00pm >>
message ringtone of my phone still ringing..
"is the results out yet? i cant access into it.."
"have u got ur results? i havent yet.."
"i'm not in kl leh.. how to get results wor? internet can?'
"isit true that they'll post outside mph??"

and also a message from DIGI..
"Panggilan masuk hingga 90 hari lepas tamat tempoh sah. isi semula untuk panggil keluar..."
shit.. even my phone's out of credit..

got an email...
IMU ALERT.. from AAD!!!
"Please be informed that you have Tan Sing Ean the End of Semester 1 examinations.."
huh?? what does that mean??
getting pissed off...
decided to just wait and see what happens..

4.00pm >>
chatting with my friends via msn messenger...
seems like everyone else is having the same problem..

4.38pm >>
got another email!!
"Please be informed that you have passed the End of Semester 1 examinations.."
weee~~~~~
i passed???!!!!
i passed!! i passed!! i passed!!!!!!!!
wakakakakakakaka...
what a huge relief...
and a happy-ending to this very stressful and frustrating day....
now is time for some real celebration...
