as semester 2 begins...

it was the 1st day of Sem 2, for batch ND108..
went there earlier.. to get my EOS results..
i already knew i passed my core subjects.. so it wasn't a surprise..
but i haven't gotten my Moral Studies and English results..
and beforehand, i heard quite a few failed English..
hello?? the passing mark for English is 70%.. who wouldn't be nervous..
and i definitely do not want to retake Moral Studies.. what a horrible thought!!
and i passed both subjects.. what a relief...

got the new time table too..
to my horror.. i have classes till quite late at night..
and i'm talking about really REALLY late..
and on Friday nights too...
we found out later from Dr. Winnie that it was because the lecturers for that particular modules are not internal lecturers...
so the lectures for these modules start quite late in the evenings..
zzzz... we have classes until like 9.30pm at night..
and on Fridays too..

feeling a bit down.. 8 of my batchmates didn't make it through to Sem 2..
and some were even my close friends too..
i'll miss having u guys in class...
never give up u guys..
now, our batch is downsized to 49 students..
hmm.. Dr Winnie also showed us the overall results of the class..
wow.. i truly admire the 5 top scorers who got 1st class..
well.. shamefully, i'm only in Second Upper...
i guess i should, like Dr. Winnie says.. buck up and get my head into the game...
oh no... that would mean less fun and play.. and more work and study...

anyway, we would be taking a few subects this semester..
1. Lifespan Nutrition
2. Food Culture and Nutrition
3. Financial Accounting
4. IT for Healthcare Services
5. Biochemistry
6. Communication
7. Malaysian Studies

well.. i guess that's quite a long post already.. and i've got some other stuff to do.. so i guess i'll just leave the rest for my next post..

and.. oh ya.. i'm now batch rep too... i hope i don't mess up and let my batchmates down...
