h o m e = a t = l a s t

after 5 hrs of torturing..
i'm finally home~~
let's see..
9.15am..
said goodbye and happy cny to my two housemates -- KaiJia and JyeDin..
met up with Polly at the ground floor of my apartment and headed towards the LRT station..

9.30am..
found myself packed amongst people of all races, fully equipped with huge luggage..
omg.. i guess it's true what they say, the Malaysian multi-racial community celebrates all occasions and festive season of every race~
nearing Plaza Rakyat station, more and more people got onto the LRT..
till it was truly suffocating..

10.10am..
reached Pudu Station at last..
and the crowd there was.. omg!!!! seriously.. i've never seen Pudu Station that crowded.. not even during HariRaya..
squeezed through the crowd towards the Transnasional booth..
and found a notice that made my jaw drop!
" Harap maklum, semua bus yang bertolak ke arah Utara akan bertolak dari Station Jalan Duta..."
what???? my bus leaves in 15 mins and i'm supposed to get to Jalan Duta Station??
panicking.. i quickly sprinted towards the exit.. stopping now and then only to ask directions to get to Jalan Duta Station..

10.20am..
sitting on the RapidKL shuttle bus headed for Jalan Duta Station..
i kept fumbling with my stuff..
please let me be in time..
i wanna go home!!

10.28am..
finally got to Jalan Duta Station..
ran towards the Transnasional busses..
scanning for the bus with the sign that says "LUMUT"
found it!! and quickly climbed into it..
phew! i made it~~

10.30am..
the bus departed dutifully..
overwelmed by the festive mood..
i almost forgotten how frustrated and tired i was..

12.00pm..
woke up from a short nap..
looked out through the window..
and omg!! the bus was stuck in a traffic jam..
and it is also in the highway too..
shit!! how can this happen to me?
i just wanna go home..
the highway was so jammed that i almost thought i was still in kl..

1.00pm..
received a message from my dad..
they were wondering whether they should wait for me to have lunch..
by the look of it.. i wouldn't even be able to reach before 4pm..
so i told them to go ahead..
and they told me..
Amanda and her family are in town..
what?? i wanna be home!!
Amanda is one of my childhood friends.. as in we knew each other ever since we were babies! and they immigrated to Australia when we were 5 or 6 years old..
i must meet up with her..

lucky for me.. they waited for me~
even though it was almost 4pm when i reached sitiawan..
and i get to meet up with their family..

well.. i gotta go help with the reunion dinner preparation..
till then.. happy chinese new year everyone~

just to let everyone have some idea of how jammed it was in the highway..

heyy~
sure.. no prob.. i'll and answer the best i can..
basically, our degree is a double degree combining Nutrition and Dietetics.. IMU is the only university offering this joined course.. but i heard that UiTM has recently started the same course too..

the difference.. i'm not really sure, but according to our lecturers, they're quite similar, because when they were drafting the curriculum, they referred to the curriculum of many different partner schools..

yes, it is possible to continue our Masters overseas, anyway, IMU is also starting a Masters course..

i see u've received the offer.. great~ did u come for the IMU Open Day recently? haha.. it was a great chance for new students like urself to learn more about the course and even talk to te lecturers..

hope to someday see u as our junior ya.. take care..
